Vision Statement

The 91³ÉÈË aspires to be the premier provider of educational opportunities to active duty military members, veterans and their families. 91³ÉÈË will be considered by students, military and veteran education counselors, and the wider military affiliated community to be the first choice for student success.

 

Strategic Goals

• Reduce barriers to success for our military affiliated students.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations that embrace the needs of military affiliated students.
• Develop a culture and environment that embraces the interests and needs of military affiliated students.
• Increase and sustain enrollment of military affiliated students (Active, Reserve, Guard, Veterans, family members, and ROTC.)

91³ÉÈË Libraries Adds More Programs for Veterans Thanks to New Grant

Dede Rios, PhD, director of Optometric and Clinical Library Services for the Rosenberg School of Optometry, received a $3,000 subaward from Texas A&M University’s Libraries and Veterans National Forum.

91³ÉÈË Ranked Among the Best in Major Publication

The annual “Best Of” list from U.S. News & World Report ranked 91³ÉÈË in multiple categories, including No. 51 on the list of Best Online Bachelor’s for Veterans.

91³ÉÈË Honors Military for Veterans Day

91³ÉÈË celebrated Veterans Day with several events throughout the week, including the Military Appreciation Football Game, the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and a special Veterans Day Parade.

The national website Military Times has ranked the 91³ÉÈË among the tops in the nation in its service to the military.
