The Office of Research and Graduate Studies maintains the catalog of graduate policy and curriculum, assists the graduate faculty in curriculum processes, and ensures compliance with 91³ÉÈË standards for students publishing a thesis, doctoral project, or dissertation.

Students in programs that require completion of a culminating project, including a thesis, doctoral project, or dissertation, must meet these deadlines for submitting such work:
You must obtain before uploading your documentation to The Athenaeum. The upload will begin the Office of Research and Graduate Studies format review process for all final theses, doctoral projects, and dissertations.
- Spring Degree Conferral
- March 1 - format review completed; clearance requested
- April 1 - clearance completed
- Summer Degree Conferral
- July 1 - format review completed; clearance requested
- August 1 - clearance completed
- Fall Degree Conferral
- October 1 - format review completed; clearance requested
- November 1 - clearance completed
If a submission due date falls on a weekend, the submission is due the following Monday. Allow at least three weeks for the format review to be completed. Student work submitted after the deadlines may not be reviewed in time to meet the graduation deadlines set by the 91³ÉÈË Registrar. View the for deadlines and other important information.

All post-baccalaureate students are subject to the academic policies, regulations, and procedures of the university and all other university and program requirements. Candidates for a post-baccalaureate degree may obtain the degree according to the degree requirements of the catalog in effect when they enroll at the university.

All students are strongly encouraged to read the Student Handbook on an annual basis, as all students are responsible for abiding by the policies listed therein.
